Bridal boudoir shoot in Parisian apartment

A bridal inspired boudoir photoshoot. I photographed Symonne in her beautiful Parisian apartment. She is a true citizen of the world, born and raised in Australia, with roots in India and Portugal. This sophisticated boudoir photoshoot was photographed on a sunny Saturday morning in Autumn. In the heart of the city of love, Paris.

Do you want a boudoir shoot? For yourself or as a pre-wedding photoshoot? Or to give it as a gift?

Polo gala 2018

It was a big pleasure to photograph the annual gala of Association Polo des Grandes Écoles & Universités. The outstanding venue of this year was the Cercle National des Armées. It’s a military building in the city center of the 8th arrondissement of Paris. Last year, the location was École Militair, next to the Eiffeltower {watch the photos here of last year}.

This gala of 2018 was, like the French call it, magnifique. With 250 guests, the ballroom was decorated by beautiful dresses, champagne and sparkling conversations. As the sun was getting down, the crystal chandeliers made the evening shining.

Ritz hotel, Paris

An historical hotel where Gabriëlle Chanel used to live for 35 years. It’s based on the iconic Place Vendôme in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. The hotel has been renovated between 2012 and 2016, and I’ve never visited since it’s re-opening. And did you know that Ritz has a secret tunnel, so that the famous guests can come and go without being seen?

Ulyana Sergeenko – Ritz Paris

It was a rainy day in Paris during Couture week. I just arrived at the Ritz hotel to photograph a fashion show. I haven’t seen Ritz since they opened again their doors. The hotel where Gabrielle Chanel once used to live. At the moment I was checking out the light with my camera, Russian fashion designer Ulyana Sergeenko walked by. I was lucky enough to photograph her while she was turning her head perfectly for the photo.

Une Maison Dans Les Arbres – Paris

When I visited the new boutique of Buly 1803 (see my blogpost about the Parfume House here) in Paris, I discovered this amazing flower boutique. Buly 1803 concept store opened their doors in the 3e arrondissement of Paris in collaboration with other small brands, like Une Maison Dans Les Arbres. The flowers are from Japan, and dried in a special way. The flowers are in great conditions and are very strong. I see them as a timeless gift which contains the exotic flowers of Japan. Also great as your wedding bouquet; the flowers will last for ever.
